Subject: Re: Summary of Advanced Integrated Science

Karen
Just read the summary of the AdvIntSci meeting. I thought your read on AP was
a tad more negative than mine. It is true that many people shy away from them
for good reason, but a number of us like them because they are solid,
challenging courses for able students. I feel that it is not a matter of IS or
AP, but instead IS and AP. There is a wide range of student interests,
abilities and motivations out there and can not teach a one size fits all
curriculum.
Looking forward to the 21st
Don
