7th Grade science at Longfellow in Berkeley
I am planning a field trip to Rodeo Beach with the seventh grade math
teacher. We are looking for acitivities at the seventh grade level
for middle school students combining math and science.
We were planning to measure the long shore current by measuring the
movement of apples down the beach.
Any ideas for other activies? Resources?
Techniques for estimating the number of grains of sand?
Wave dynamics?
