Subject: holiday discount shopping
Hello Pinholers,
Those of you who are almost done teaching for 1998 may still have some
holiday shopping to do....right? Kate Duckworth, the new manager of the
Exploratorium Store (now known as the Explorastore), asked me if our
teachers would be interested in a discount shopping day. She thought it
might be too late to pull it off this year, since we don't have time to
mail an invitation to every TI alum before vacation.
So here's your pinhole advantage - I said let me put this out on pinhole.
Kate has offered a 15% discount (the member's discount) to any TI teacher
who would like to do some holiday shopping on Monday, December 21 (the
museum is open on Mondays during school breaks) from 10 to 5.
If you are interested in coming to shop on that day, please let Kate know
by emailing her at

We hope to make this a bigger thing next year, but we hope that a number of
you can take advantage of this offer this year, too.
