A science mentor teacher friend of mine found this tool at a garage sale. She teaches her 5th graders a unit on levers and pulleys and thought this tool would be a good addition to her examples. However, she cannot figure out what it is or does. Can you?
The actual tool measures 8.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide.
