The Snacks discussed at this web site are science activities. Karo
syrup is used in one of the activities, and for the activity, Karo syrup
is perferred, possibly necessary, for the recipe to work. However, Karo
syrup is
a type of corn syrup and probably could be substituted in food recipes.
You should experiment with it to see what you think.
