THE SKY IS BLUE BECAUSE OF REFLECTION OFF THE OCEAN SURFACE (WRONG)

The blueness of the sky is due to selective scattering of blue light by
molecules and very small particles in the air alomg with our sensitivity to
blue light. One would be hard pressed to use the misconception to explain
blue skies in Montana.
