Hi Eric

Another neat experiment from Sweden from Marie Wallum (She would fit into TI
instantly.)

Start with the old water glass and 3x5 card trick.
(Turn over the water glass and the card stays attached.)

Use an verhead transparency cut to slightly larger than a 3 x 5 card.

It too will hold on under the water glass.
Now for the good part. Tip the glass to the side a little, maybe 20 degrees of
tip. The water will drain out while air bubbles in from above. All of the water
can leave and the plastic will remain atached to the glass! Toward the end as
the water drains out you can tip the glass more.

Another one: Stick a straw (I think theirs are smaller diameter than ours.) into
the paper 3 x 5 card. Watch the bubbles form as the air bubbles into the glass
of water.

Any new ideas from TI?

Paul D
