I always show "The Miracle of Life", photography by Lennart Nilson.
I have never seen anything else approaching its quality. Because it
has aired on PBS frequently, it is not controversial. In public
school, I was required to inform parents in advance of any sexual
material the students would view.

PBS also has a 4 hour series entitled "The Nature of Sex". It has a
socio-biological perspective.

I also have shown one of the episodes from the 8 hour PBS series "The
Secret of Life". This is an excellent series narrated by David
Suzuki which is primarily about DNA. One episode, "Birth, Sex, and
Death"(?) deals with gender identity and inter-sexes from a
developmental perspective.

I hope this is helpful.
