Hi Eric and Karen K.,

Years ago I did this experiment and you could repeat it to
convince yourself that it works.

Take a bath and keep some matches handy. When a bit
of flatulence strikes, hold a lit match near where the bubbles
come to the surface and their flammable properties will be
revealed to you!

Another interesting experiment is to squeeze an orange
peal near an open flame. A small flame shoots out from
the peal as the spray ignites.
