Subject: Women and the biological sciences

Came across this website and thought that many of you might find this site
useful both in terms of your own interests and that of your students.

It focuses on women in biology and has links to sites that your students
may find of interest regarding women and science as well as women in
science.

Page 2 of the website is more for those seriously considering a career in
the life sciences or already committed and are either pursuing their
studies or their work in the field . It too makes for some interesting
reading. The issue of the "glass ceiling" and how to address it is one of
the issues addressed there.

One caveat: Like most sites that consist of links to other websites, you
will find that some of the links are no longer active.

Enjoy. - ron
