Monya -- At Castilleja we use PASCO for Physics and Vernier for Chemistry
and 7th grade Physical Science. PASCO has a new software set-up out. Both
programs come with lists of activities that one can do with probes to
illustrate concepts in physics, chem, bio, etc. You can also hook-up the
probes to graphing calculators if you get the right interface and software,
but I prefer the computer interface. We do a lot of data analysis in a
program called Graphical Analysis. I like to have two or three students per
probe set-up but sometimes that group size is unrealistic. The probes and
software from both companies work well. Cheers, Jhumki
