The Librarians' Index to the Internet is a great resource and "secet
weapon." I often send individual teachers or museum staffers items from
this that I know relate to what they're working on, but this week's
special edition is one too many of us can use. Note that the new link it
mentions on the LII home page also leads to resources for those dealing
with children about the tragedy.

Subject: [LIIWEEK] Special Edition September 15, 2001

We've added to the LII a few of the many resources that have sprung up
these past few days and decided it would be most useful to send a special
mailing of LII Week out to all of you now, rather than wait until the
usual mailing next week. We've added a new link to the LII home page -
Terrorist Attacks - that will do a consolidated search on entries in the
LII pertaining to the September 11, 2001 events.
