Interesting idea about the 60 Hz frequency of the LED drifting from the 60
Hz of the monitor.

Many monitors are locked to the 60 HZ of the power line. An so should have
exactly the same frequency as the LED.

However modern digital technology may have left me behind and they may be
crystal controlling the frequency of the monitor you are uusing. The
crystal frequency could be slightly different from the power line.
