Subject: Truck/Friction question

Here's my two cents worth, which is really not worth
two cents, but nonetheless...

If the truck had bald tires, would increasing the
weight in the bed improve friction on a snowy road?
Perhaps it is the tread design which provides improved
gripping on slick surfaces when the weight in the bed
is increased by improving the "channeling" of snow
away from the surface of the road or provides some
gouging into the snow producing a more sandpaper like
surface.

But I like Paul's reply best. I had to read it twice
it made me laugh so hard.
