Dear Pinholers -

     In reference to the eclipse viewing, I have found that the pinhole
camera construction was too much bother, and the images too dim. My
favorite way to view eclipses is to use a piece of pegboard. Multiple images
of the sun are projected onto the shadow of the pegboard. If the distance
from the pegboard to the pavement is large, the images are rather sharp.
