Do you have recommendations for hands-on ways to successfully teach the topics below? In particular, I'm looking for ways of presenting evidence, which students can examine to arrive at the generally-accepted scientific conclusions that they read about in their textbooks.

Also, are there curriculum packages (such as Gems, Snackbook, etc.) that teach several of these topics well?

Here are the topics:

Why was there shift away from a geocentric view of the universe? What are the current views of the earth's place in the universe? How have people arrived at these conclusions?

What are rotation and revolution?

Tilted axis of the earth

Seasons

Time zones and international date line

Phases of the Moon

Eclipses

Tides
