Hi mike,
The answer to question 1 depends on where you are on the CO2 phase diagram.
The gas could go through a liquid phase before becoming a solid or the gas
could go directly to solid.
The answer to question 2 . Iodine sublimes. The ice cubes in your freezer
disappear after a while, so ice also sublimes.
the answer to question 3. A plasma is an ionized gas, so it must be at a
higher energy than the gas.
