Because the Exploratorium-wide all-staff meeting coincides exactly with
Learning Studio open hours, we'll be closed tomorrow, Wednesday. Given
how much is going on about the museum's future, I don't dare miss it. But
I -will- miss you fine folks.

Remember, we now have a separate phone line, 415 674-2875, for daily
updates on whether we're open. This could save you a trip -- especially
in the first week of February, when I'm at risk of jury duty.

It was a delight to see so many of you on 1/11, our first open Saturday
since the closure. We went through more than four dozen
home-baked Snickerdoodles and a full booktruck of Activity books, and
issued the first new Educator Member card since they took the freeze off.
It felt G*R*E*A*T.
