Subject: rubberbands

A friend of mine insists on storing rubber bands (simple kind you use in an
office) in the fridge. If a frost-free fridge has almost no humidity (as
my friend Gail Peiterson says) then this does not make sense to me. Can
anyone explain this practice?

Aloha, Paraluman
