Subject: Middle School science job opening Fall '03

My school is looking for a teacher for 6th and 7th
grade science for next year. Prospect Sierra is an
independent private school, academically oriented and
progressive in philosophy. The school motto:
Developing Heart, Mind, and Community; describes the
school well. The school community is very supportive.
 This includes faculty, staff, administration, and
parents. Salaries are competitive based on experience,
at independent school rates (generally higher than
public school salaries). Class size maximum is 24.
7th grade science is Physical Science. 6th grade
science includes some astronomy, earth science, and
simple machines. These are connected to the 6th grade
Humanities curriculum which includes ancient Egypt and
Greece.
