Hi again,
i've got some students trying to invent something that will suck up a spider
into a little chamber and then let it free. they tried using pvc tubes that
fit inside one another and pulling one out in order to try to create some
suction, but that's difficult. they've been reading about how vacuum
cleaners work, and experimenting with fans to try to create a mini-vacuum as
well. if this makes any sense, does anyone have any advice on how to build
such a thing? or a resource to explore?
thanks very much,
jennie
