Half Moon Bay High School is looking for a full time biology teacher for the fall. Below is some information about the position, taken from the recent job posting. I have not worked at the high school, so I cannot give you much information about the position. I do know that the school will be getting a new principal next year, so the school will be in flux for awhile.

POSTING DATE: April 29, 2003 POSTING NO.: 2003-11
DEADLINE: May 13, 2003, or until a suitable candidate is found.
POSITION: BIOLOGY TEACHER – 1.0 F.T.E.
 
LOCATION: Half Moon Bay High School
SALARY: Initial placement on the certificated salary schedule based on experience and education ($39,187 to $50,860 + $2,063 MA for full-time, 1.0 FTE).Credit is given for up to six years on the salary schedule.
HEALTH BENEFITS: Full-family, district-paid dependent coverage for health, vision and dental plans for 187-day, full-time position.
START DATE: August 19, 2003
