Just to repeat the announcement from last week -- and hope you bring or
books back before they get locked in your classroms till September:

SUMMER HOURS start June 16! While the Teacher Institute is in session
(and school's out for everyone else), the Learning Studio will be open
Mon.-Fri. 12-3:00 only, to coordinate with their schedule. Note: NO
Saturdays (last one is June 7th). This schedule will run from June 16th
through August 8th; watch for an announcement of school year/"regular"
hours then.

Note: this applies only to the Learning Studio. The Production Studio has
its own separate schedule.

My apologies to those teachers who ~don't~ get the summer off, especially
our regulars from Juvenile Hall who are here every Saturday. If you want
more hours and more staff, tell the California Legislature and any donors
you know: "libraries will get you through times of no money better than
money will get you through times of no libraries."
