I have a set of small dry erase boards in my classroom and they work well for group activities or just as a quick assessment of the days' lessons. I got them each for $1.99 at Office Depot. They don't have them at the stores, you have to go to the store and order it from their catalog. They will deliver them to your house.

I have the students bring their own dry erase markers or I buy them and sell them to them for a dollar a piece.

Good luck!
