"The Polar Regions - Bellwethers of Change"
A Geophysical Information for Teachers (GIFT) Workshop
Sponsored by the American Geophysical Union
San Francisco - December 2003
The GIFT program has money that they can use to help schools
pay for substitutes, which I suspect is an issue for many schools,
given the California budget. AGU is willing to reimburse up to $200
toward substitute teachers per participant (requires 2-day attendance
for the workshop) if they get a letterhead invoice from the
participating teacher's principal or financial officer.
See attached flyer for more information on the GIFT workshop and/or
contact Kristin Schmelz, American Geophysical Union, kschmelz@agu.org.
