This is not exactly related, but I thought you might
be interested. The video "Magic Schoobus Plays Ball"
is all about a baseball game played on ice and it
might be worth a look. While the movie may not be at
the level you need (or even the exact subject) the
physics of friction and motion of players on ice are
always a hoot for my students and might be
instructive. Our Oakland Public Library has it, but if
you are interested and can't find it, contact me and
I'll mail you my own copy.

Once again, I look forward to the day when the
Learning Studio is available to us again with extended
hours. Jo Falcon and staff are doing yeomans work with
their limited hours and are incredibly helpful to new
and old teachers alike.
