Subject: Tectonic plate animations

Here is a page with a set of animations from the USGS. A couple of them are a little slow or cumbersome, or a bit coarse, but a couple are pretty good. My students enjoyed the plate motion animation. It includes an insert that tracks the approximate number of million of years ago as the animation proceeds.
