Is is a simple demo. Draw a line in PENCIL at the bottom of a piece of
filter paper (about 2cm). Put dots of different colored ink at 3 or 4
places on the line. Set the filter paper upright in about 1.5cm of acetone
(a beaker works great for this) cover with saran wrap. After 15-30
minutes your tie die should be present. It occurs due to the capillary
action and the different sized colors traveling at different speeds.
