Here's some info on a grant for ms teachers that you might be interested in:

You might want to alert the middle school science teachers in your network
of the NEC Perfect Classroom Competition. Teachers compete for cash
prizes; the deadline for three minute 'video essays' is February 9, 2004.

Details are in the attached media advisory. Contest guidelines and entry
forms are available at

Entries should be sent directly to Science Service in Washington, DC as
noted.
