Two questions:
1) Does anyone know where on federal tax forms we declare summer institute stipends?  I got a 1099-misc in the mail, and cannot figure out if I should just add this sum to my salary, or put it on a special line.

2)  I know water is one substance whose solid phase is less dense than
it's liquid; I think I remember that there was another substance where the
solid phase is less dense than liquid.  Does anyone know of a substance,
other than water, like that??

Thanks,
Jen Paillet
