Ben, it is too bad this instruction isn't taking place in Social Studies
so you can get on with the hands on! I think you are serving some of
the students very well. As the parent of 2 ADHD kids, I can tell you
that this may be EXTREMELY valuable to them. My son is in 9th grade and
has to outline every section of every chapter of social studies, and
finds it extremely difficult to pick out the major ideas-this from a kid
who scores in the mid 90 percentile on standardized reading exams!
