Hi Raliegh,
Elemental bromine is a volatile brown liquid with a terrible odor that you
will never forget if you have smelled it. Bromine evaporates quickly at ammbient
tempereature into a brown irritating gas. Whatever you have is probably not
bromine, but your nose will tell you if it is.
