Subject: Position Open at UCSF Science & Health Education Partnership

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks individuals
with classroom teaching experience to join the team at the Science &
Health Education Partnership (SEP) as an Academic Coordinator.

SEP is a nationally recognized program that supports K-12 science
education through partnerships between UCSF scientists and teachers
in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). The primary
responsibilities of SEP Academic Program Coordinators are to plan,
coordinate, and implement academic partnership and professional
development programs for K-12 teachers from the SFUSD and scientists
from UCSF. Coordinators also support SEP unit-wide outreach
activities and participate in dissemination efforts.

The qualified candidate must have in-depth experience in one or more
of the following areas: K-12 science education, educational
research, scientific research, K-12 classroom teaching, professional
development for teachers, pre-service teacher education, and/or
informal science education. A bachelor's degree is required and a
graduate degree and/or teaching credential is desirable. For more

Pending academic review, this appointment is classified as a
year-round Academic Coordinator I, and is subject to the UC academic
review process. The annual salary is commensurate with experience.
The position is subject to availability of funding.
