For a couple versions of contour mapping ideas, visit www.raft.net and go to
the RAFT Ideas link.

3D Viewing uses stacked, clear plastic trays to create the illusion of a 3-d
model.

Making Mountains uses EVA foam (very easy to cut and good for more detailed
models). This sheet also contains a topo map of the big island of Hawaii.

I'm also working on a version that uses a topo map of Mt. St. Helens before
and after the eruption, but it is not quite finished yet. Send me an email
if you would like me to send you this Idea Sheet once it is done.
