Hello Pinhole Friends,
You are all invited to the Council of Math/Science Educators of San
Mateo County's (CMSESMC) 3rd Annual Fall Math and Science Resource
Fair.
This year's fair will take place after school on Thursday, September
23rd, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Come for all or part of that time. The
fair takes place at the Hiller Air Museum in San Carlos (directions
below). The event is free, and there will be free materials and
snacks for all those who attend.
Why should you attend?
Find out about the local organizations that provide math and/or
science resources for teachers. Field trips, classroom materials,
hands-on activities will be presented by organizations like The
Exploratorium, The Tech, The SF Zoo, IISME, Raft, Cal Academy of
Sciences, GEMS, Marine Science Institute, Gene Connection,
EQUALS/Family Math, USGS, Discovery Toys, Sustainable San Mateo
County, BFI - and this is a partial list!
AND
CMSESMC will be registering interested member teachers for California
Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Annual Conference - for only $65
per person. By registering with a group of 20 or more teachers, CSTA
will honor this incredible rate. So, bring your checkbook and sign
up for CSTA for only $65. If you are not a member of CMSESMC, you
