Subject: Mysterious Thing

Maybe a morrel but here's a wacky idea: nonphotosynthetic parasitic plant. I
was shown one once in the ground cover of an aspen forest in Colorado. It was
tiny and pale purple. It had a flower. Dissect the thing and look for
vascular tissue. The man who would know for sure is named Kevin Taylor who has
been closely associated with the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in
Colorado. He's the expert's expert on flora of Colorado.
