Hi Everyone!
For those of you who attended this past Saturday's workshop CSI: TI
(and even if you didn't) you might be interested in the following
short article that appeared in today's SF Chronicle (link to the
online version of the article below). It's a report from the AAAS
meeting by genuine forensic scientists. Title of article: "Forensic
Scientists have mixed feelings about CSI." Apparently victims are
expecting answers in 30 minutes, judges and juries are ordering more
and more tests that really aren't useful (but they expect it) and
even criminals are learning ways to get around certain tests as they
