Hi Algis,
After many years in the world of chemistry, I have found that test tub
brushes, detergent (Alconox), and elbow grease are the best and cheapest means to
clean glassware. Occasionally, Hot alcoholic KOH solution will clean up stubborn
gunk, but this is a dangerous mixture and not recommened for schools.
