Hey Pinholers,
I got a question from a student the other that was interesting.
1) What does an anti-mater, mater, explosion look like
-shouldn't it only put out gamma rays that go through materials quite easily
-does it generate lots of heat locally or where those gamma rays get absorbed
-how is it different from a nuclear bomb explosion(fission)
-how is it different from a hydrogen bomb explosion(fusion)
It seemed to me that it would get quite hot and perhaps that was due to gamma rays scattering off of nearby molecules? But I wasn't sure. This question came about through the book Angel's and Demons
