Experienced Science Teachers
join an
Online Mentoring Program
Would you like to.
· mentor a beginning CA science teacher in your content area
· conduct weekly online activities with your mentee
· participate in online mentor professional development
· access a vast array of science resources
· receive a $1400* stipend for August 2005 - June 2006 participation
· attend the National Science Teachers Assn Conference in April
· help implement an innovative national science mentoring program
*This includes an online summer institute.
e-Mentoring for Student Success (eMSS) is currently recruiting experienced
(5+ years) middle and high school science teachers to participate in an
innovative online mentoring project. Mentors will work online with beginning
science teachers, research scientists and other mentors. Retired teachers
are encouraged to apply.
