Hi Joe,
Alas there does not seem to be much correlation between atomic number and
half life. If I recall, the half life of tritium, a hydrogen isotope, is about 12
years. The heavy element, radon, has a half life of a few minutes, and its
neighbor, uranium, has a half life of about 4.5 billion years. An isotope of
iodine has a half life of a few days. So there it is.
