Hi damon,
If you can find a source of fluorinated hydrocarbons, you can buy
non-flamable, non-toxic liquids that cover a range of densities. Chlorinated
hydrocarbons will serve the same purpose, but are generally toxic. Butane lighter fluid
has a very low density, but is flamable. Good luck on your search.
