A half time* position is available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, preferably with a science background, and excellent people, organizational, communication and computer skills. Experience with organizing a large event is preferred. The candidate will coordinate all aspects of the Synopsys Championship by interfacing with volunteer board members, teachers, students, parents, judges and funding organizations. * Half time not evenly distributed throughout the year; light in summer, moderate in early fall and late spring, and heavy in winter and early spring.
Our board meetings are first Wed of each month near Moffet, and much of the interacting will happen with board members residing in the north county.
