KC,
I've built 2 liter plastic bottle carbon dioxide powered cars (vinegar and
baking soda) with my HS students.
They have to figure out the best amount and ratio of ingredients, how to
add the ingredients to the bottle and design the vehicle. Very cool, very
fast and a good lesson on conservation of energy (chemical potential to
mechanical energy).
