There was an excellent article in the Sept. 1996 (I'm behind in my
reading!) issue of Internet World entitled Worldwide Encounters about
using the Internet in the classroom.

The best part is a listing at the end of the article entitled K-12
resources which has everything from the BEST web site information I just
sent you to just about anything else teachers, teacher educators, parents,
and students could want to find on the Internet. Actually it only list
about 20 sites, but they tend to be meta sites that list lots of links to
other sites.

To see the list, go to the Internet World Web page for that article at:
http://www.iw.com/1996/09/worldwide.html

At the end of the article is the listing of web sites that you can click
on and link to.

Enjoy.
