The zinc was another question from someone else. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) may
not smell like rotten eggs at very low concentrations, but I do not know what
the odor is like or how to describe it. Almost any acid, including skin, may
react with MnS to make small amounts of H2S. I know 1 molar HCl reacts
vigorously with manganese and the H2S odor is very strong.
