Thanks for the info re. half lives, etc. We're doing a unit on time and,
from the easier measures of time (astronomical) I wanted to show them
more difficult but chemically interesting measures of time (like carbon-14
dating) but I was missing some of the info I needed on half lives.
Chernobyl and nuclear power plants came up because many of my students are
refugees from the Ukraine, who fled because of Chernobyl.
