It seems to me that if I'm an individual particle, my own motion is of no
consequence since motion is relative. Therefore I don't see how absolute
zero can mean anything to an individual particle. For a group of
particles, even if absolute zero could be obtained, I don't see how it can
be maintained. Since every particle exerts forces on all other particles,
they would immediately accelerate and be moving again.
