We probably have a different architect than you, and we've been working
with ours all along the line, so they put together a plan with only what
we wanted or approved. And why just one day for your response? It
doesn't sound, at this point, like they're going to even begin
construction until next summer.

What kind of repairs/fixes/additions are you looking for? We don't
have enough money for the basic health and safety equipment needed. All
our money in the physics lab is going for sinks, an eyewash station, a
modern electrical board (our current one is 60 plus years old and truly a
museum piece), and other standard safety equipment.

Have you contacted any of the other sci dept heads to see what's going on
with them? If you are facing a stupid plan and an unfair deadline, others
must be as well, and you'd have more clout at the district level with
larger numbers.
