frictionless pucks have been around forever. my guess is that balance is not
too critical. sand one side of a plastic puck to a slightly concave lens to
allow for a pocket of CO2.glue a small screw- top can securely to the other
side, as close as you can eyeball to the center.drill a small hole up through
the center of the puck and the bottom of the can. sand the rim of the bottom
of the puck true on a pane of glass using fine sandpaper. fill the can with
dry ice, screw down the lid, make sure the gas is escaping through the hole,
et voici! make several. nice flat level surface needed for play.
